Description
This position is responsible for keeping the Syracuse Area Health facilities clean in accordance with safety and infection control guidelines which support a safe and attractive environment for all services provided at SAH. You will consistently demonstrate commitment to customer service excellence in all interactions with patients, family members, visitors, and other staff members. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse's stations, breakrooms, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, lobbies, Operating rooms, and storage rooms.
The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 4:00pm-12:30am. Rotating Holiday schedule. NO WEEKENDS!
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous business/facility cleaning experience with experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills, including experience working with others in a courteous manner
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and utilize excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail, you will play a crucial role in creating a clean and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently, or in a team setting.
