System One is assisting a Tulsa area client with a search for a Controller. The Controller will oversee the accounting team working directly with the CFO. They will review the work of others and also prepare forecasts and other special projects.

- Manage and mentor the Accounting & Finance team providing necessary tools to achieve their goals and responsibilities. Encourage teamwork and collaboration
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes. Preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Prepare forecasts and support strategic planning
- Stay current on new accounting pronouncements and determine impact to the organization. Develop implementation strategies working with the CFO
- Ensure internal control processes are in place and functioning properly. Assist with external audits
- Oversee tax compliance and financial risk management. Oversee filing of quarterly and annual regulatory reports
- Involved in special projects providing financial insights for business decisions. Consistently look for ways to improve processes gaining efficiencies and/or reducing costs
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. MS degree preferred
- CPA certification required
- 5 years in accounting or finance, with 3 years in public accounting required
- Proven experience in managing teams and financial operations
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Some travel required (less than 25%)
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
