S3 Arabia (S3A) is seeking an Aviation Recruiter to staff new and recurring OCONUS Aviation programs, primarily in Middle East Northeast Asia (MENA) and Eastern Europe. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Place of employment for this job is Huntsville, AL.
Description:
S3 Arabia (S3A) is searching for several experienced Recruiters with the right mix of skills and experience to staff new and recurring OCONUS Aviation programs. S3A believes military senior Noncommissioned Officers, Warrant Officers, and Commissioned Officers with previous Human Resources experience with industry, the military, or through collegiate studies will be ideal candidates to master this work, but is also receptive to candidates who have at least 4 years’ experience recruiting for talent scout agencies or working with industry resourcing leaders such as JSFIRM and INDEED. Candidates must have extraordinary attention to detail, display strong multi-tasking capabilities, and have considerable networking ties throughout the US Military Aviation community. Past military service or accession experience with rotary wing aviation training, maintenance, and/or logistics program is a preferred background for these candidates. Candidates must also have extensive knowledge of military occupational specialties and aircrew member aerospace designations and certifications.
Responsibilities:
· Recruits aviation aircrew members, technicians, logistics specialists, management and programmatic experts to market, recruit, staff, and execute OCONUS Foreign Military Sales cases.
· Recruits salary and hourly job requirement candidates for OCONUS Aviation related positions.
· Maintains familiarity with US military UAS, rotary wing, and fixed wing aviation platforms
· Works with hiring managers to develop candidate education, experience, and licensing requirements.
· Supports implementation of S3A’s applicant tracking system with hiring managers.
· Maintains productive and collaborative relationship with customers and HR teams.
· Delivers consistent application of HR policies, legislation and best practices for hiring candidates.
· Assists HR personnel in the preparation of AAP plans and EEO tracking requirements.
· Attends job fairs locally, regionally, state, nationally, and internationally as required.
· Screens and reviews candidates and performs reference checks.
· Schedules pre-hire drug screening and physical examinations as required.
· Assembles document verification packets for the customer as required and assists deployment preparation at home station and/or designated readiness centers
· May deploy on temporary duty to OCONUS sites to support candidate on-boarding and recruiting of host nation employees up to six weeks each annual period.
Qualifications:
· Candidate will have an Associate Degree with 4 years’ recruiting experience or HS education and 6 years’ recruiting experience; BS Degree preferred.
· Candidate will have excellent networking ability in military aviation community and/or civilian aerospace industry.
· Candidate will have social media Skills Level 4 on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the most proficient.
· Candidate will have at least Skill Level 3 in Microsoft Office Suite on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the most proficient.
· Candidate will be able to travel OCONUS in temporary duty status for up to 6 weeks in each annual period to support US candidate onboarding and host nation candidate recruiting.
· Candidate will be willing to work other than regularly scheduled 40-hour week (job may include some evenings and weekend work).
· Candidate will be familiar with military aviation to include military organizations, current US aircraft fleets, simulation platforms, field and sustainment maintenance, and logistics.
· Candidate will be familiar with personnel policies and procedures at Federal, State, and Local levels as applicable to the recruiting task, as well as the aptitude for quickly acquiring this knowledge and understanding for Foreign Nations targeted for S3A contractual work.
· Candidate will have performed HR staffing and/or retention activities either in uniform and/or in industry (preferred).
· Candidate will be familiar with US Army Occupational Specialties and have networking skills to reach candidates qualified in the Army’s advanced helicopter fleets.
· Candidate should be able to travel to various US military installations in CONUS to support job fairs and other recruiting activities.
Candidate will have the ability to obtain a US Passport and Visa to travel abroad.
· Candidate will be in good health with no restrictions on travel.
