Title: PowerApps Platform Developer (only W2 Position – No C2C Accepted)

Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening forPowerApps Platform Developer.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power Platform Developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in building and optimizing business solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, SQL, and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and a passion for automating business processes and enhancing user experiences. Experience with Power BI is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Automate workflows and integrate systems using Power Automate (Flow).
• Build and manage SharePoint Online lists, libraries, and site structures to support business solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data integration, transformation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Document technical designs, processes, and user guides.
• (Optional) Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Create and manage custom connectors and API integrations with external systems.
• Participate in code reviews, solution architecture discussions, and technical planning.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, data integrity, and user experience.
• Stay current with Power Platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Assist in governance, security, and compliance efforts related to Power Platform usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Power Platform development.
• Proficiency in PowerApps, Power Automate, SQL, and SharePoint Online.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse, connectors, and integration patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and custom connectors.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400).
• Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Microsoft Teams integration

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
