Senior Server Administrator - Windows Server

SYSTEMTEC is seeking Senior Server Administrator - Windows Server for an onsite opportunity in Columbia, SC. This enterprise Windows Server team supports over 2000 servers which run primarily as virtual servers on VMware but also includes physical servers.
Preferred Licenses and Certificates: Comtia A , Network , Security
Onsite Tues, Wed, and Thurs onsite - you must live within a 45 drive from 29223 datacenter location
Standard Hours - 8:30AM - 5:00PM On call rotation (typically once every 5 weeks for one week)
Required Qualifications of the Senior Server Administrator Windows Server:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
• Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
• 5 years-of experience working in infrastructure/server environments performing monitoring (hardware and/or software) and implementations and a solid understanding of server hardware and software (Windows Server, x86)
• Nice To Have: VMware or Hyper-V, Network technologies

Responsibilities of the Senior Server Administrator Windows Server:
Support Windows Server OS and hardware including advanced troubleshooting, software installations, and end user support. The Windows Server team supports over 2000 servers which run primarily as virtual servers on VMware but also includes physical servers.
