What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at T & M Hardware & Rental?
T & M Hardware is a fast-paced and friendly retail hardware and rental store that is seeking energetic Cashier for our Harmony location. This person will oversee initiatives and promotions to ensure maximum productivity, profitability and compliance with company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Promotes advertised items to customers to increase sales.
- Assists with the timely execution of store sales, promotions, and clearances.
- Merchandises and maintains the checkout area, coolers, candy and chip racks, and displays and racks in the front-end of the store are stocked daily to increase impulse sales.
- Manages processing of all POS transactions to maintain the integrity of the inventory.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks to ensure that the front counters, floors, racks, and displays are cleaned, organized, stocked, and presentable for purchase.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license
- Moral Integrity
- Excellent work ethic
- Computer Skills (POS, Internet, Back Office)
- Ability to work supervised and un-supervised
- Detail oriented
- Work Flexible hours, including Nights, Weekends and Holidays
- Pass a Background Check
- Able to lift 80 pounds
- Willing to Submit to Random Drug Tests
- High School diploma
- Work Indoors/Outdoors, as Required
