Works in a normal office environment where employee is regularly required to speak, see, hear, sit, stand, talk, type, walk and bend while moving about the facility. The noise level in the office is quiet. Must be able to move boxes weighing 20-40 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Build and manage effective relationships with Retail Sales Account Manager, Broker Partners and Retail Buyers/Category Managers through quality communication, agility and adaptability, and timeliness.
- Assess category, shopper, and competitive trends from multiple perspectives including IRI/POS data, retailer shopper portals, market research reports, industry insight external partners and customer team feedback in order to synthesize category problems and identify needs/gaps.
- Lead the development of compelling Category Review presentations, in partnership with account teams, to pursue sales distribution and shelving priorities.
- Develop custom and leverage standardized reports to glean insights from data trends, translate into compelling customer stories and propose actionable recommendations to influence distribution and volume growth.
- Proactively identify and quantify cluster- and planogram/modular-specific opportunities leveraging advanced analytics and shopper insights to maximize productivity. Optimize assortment to generate incremental sales (vs. internal and external benchmarks), design shelf layout to align with consumer need state and shopper behavior and allocate space to maintain in-stocks according to demand curves to ultimately promote conversion, deliver category growth and market share gain.
- Influence strategic direction of TMZ corporate plans based on collective understanding of category, shopper, retailer and marketplace dynamics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in consumer packaged goods within the disciplines of category management, sales, and/or market research.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing customer relationships, across markets and customer class.
- This position will have dedicated responsibility for Kroger and 8451 experience is preferred
- Proven functional leadership in category management, preferably as Category Advisor at Walmart or other strategic account.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills and fact-based solution generation.
