The Principal Systems Architect is responsible for crafting creative and scalable systems and software solutions that address business/technical needs or challenges on the web.
This Principal Architect, System role is a priority role across DLM (Device Eligibility) & Supply Planning org for Supply Chain and Procurement.
Defines and maintains architecture and technology standards and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases including both in-house development as well as third-party applications.
The person in the role will partner with a wide array of partners to ensure the overall system architecture for the platform meets scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements.
Provides mentorship and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with the proper standards. Evaluates and recommends technologies and techniques for applicability to T-Mobile systems.

Washington Pay Range : $160,900.00 - $217,700.00
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct technical evaluation of third party products for inclusion in T-Mobile solutions. Help define software development processes related to ERP evaluation and integration.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Understands the business processes on projects assigned and provides technology-architectural solutions, roadmaps, POCs and builds architectural catalog.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to contribute to job accomplishments
- Translates business requirements into technical requirements and assist other team members in implementing the solution.
- Bachelor's Degree Computer science or related field. Technology certifications (such as Java, Microsoft, Oracle) a plus (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience as software or systems architect crafting ERP solutions with APIs, Kubernetes, MicroServices, event-based frameworks, databases, and digital architecture, especially with an eye toward cyber security.
- 4-7 years Experience in Experience in Supply Chain Domain architecture and design, preferably with background in Oracle Supply Chain Suite. Has been involved in 3rd party system integrations
- 4-7 years Experience in web experience management technologies included but not limited to self-services, search, analytics, and marketing automation preferably with knowledge of AI/ML solutions.
- 4-7 years Experience in architecture and design of mobile web applications included responsive design and hybrid model for device native applications. ()
- Exposure to legacy technologies, payment systems, EDI, SOAP services,
- Team Leadership experience (Required)
- Architecture (TOGAF, etc), Supply Chain Management, or related ERP certifications with SAP or Oracle.
