We are currently looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are kind, reliable, and passionate about making a positive difference. As a DSP, you’ll play a direct role in supporting people to reach their goals, gain independence, and live with dignity.
What You'll Do
- Support individuals with their daily routines—this may include personal care, mealtime assistance, and mobility
- Help individuals participate in community activities that align with their interests
- Encourage and assist with skill-building, goal setting, and celebrating progress
- Follow individualized support plans and help document daily services
- Communicate respectfully with individuals, families, and the T&T Cares team
- Document support provided via progress notes and other documentation methods

Who We're Looking For
Basic Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a State of Oregon background check
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- No history of substantiated abuse or neglect
- Passionate about supporting people with disabilities in a respectful, inclusive environment
Preferred Qualities
- Experience as a DSP, PSW, or caregiver is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working with adults and/or children with I/DD
- Willing to learn, communicate clearly, and collaborate with a team
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in home care, education, behavioral support, or related fields is helpful
Physical Expectations
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- May be required to assist with transfers or mobility support
- Must be able to move, bend, or stretch during daily tasks or outings
Other Requirements
- Access to a reliable mobile device (used for clocking in/out and progress notes)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
