What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at Tabard Inn?
The Special Events team at a boutique hotel in Downtown DC near Dupont Circle is seeking an experienced server for a full-time position.
Banquet Server will:
- Ensure the seamless execution of all events, including receptions, bridal showers, and corporate and social events.
- Have open availability
- Have banquet captain level experience working banquet events at a restaurant or hotel.
- Be able to follow clear directions and work well with a team.
- Responsible for the setup and breakdown of all events (ability to lift to 50 pounds is required)
- Act as the liaison between the chef, catering clients, and event managers.
- Able to serve clients efficiently and expeditiously while keeping a calm and pleasant demeanor.
- Must look professional and polished.
