Our client is a private firm that specializes in civil engineering, environmental surveying, landscape architecture, and public outreach. They are seeking a Director of Civil Engineering who can oversee project design and management, budgeting, scheduling, and staff supervision. You will also be involved in field data collection, hydraulic analysis, grading and stormwater design, technical report writing, land development permitting, and client and stakeholder communication.
The Ideal Candidate has :
- A Bachelor's Degree in related field
- PE (Professional Engineering) License in NJ (PA, DE, MD, NY are an added bonus!)
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D & Microsoft Office
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Superior organizational skills, is motivated, and dependable
- A valid driver's license in order to visit client sites and field work
- Be able to obtain government clearance where necessary
- Coastal engineering and permitting experience is a plus
