Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage case documents.
- Assist in maintaining calendars and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and discovery.
- Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence.
- Correspond with outside counsel, courts, clients, and other agencies.
- Schedule clients and hearings through phone, Zoom, and in person.
- Attention to completion of tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- 2 years’ experience as a paralegal.
- Experience in family law preferred.
- Experience tracking billable time preferred.
- Ability to prioritize workload and assignments.
- Proficient with MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, legal research, as well as ability to learn new technology.
- Excellent communication and organization abilities.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong work ethic.
