Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN/Per Diem, Part-Time, Full-Time
- Salary: Up to $54.00/hour, DOE
Your Contributions
As an RN at Tacoma Nursing and Rehabilitation, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care while supporting their families. You will:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine residents’ medical needs.
- Develop, implement, and revise care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Document care and assessments with precision and confidentiality.
- Promote a safe, positive, and person-centered environment.
Core Qualifications
- Washington State RN license.
- Leadership skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work in a team, and learn new skills.
- Physical ability to lift/maneuver up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules.
- Current CPR certification.
Additional Experience That Sets You Apart
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
- Familiarity with behavioral and memory care.
- Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic testing to assess health status.
- Communicate with physicians regarding resident conditions and care plans.
- Support admissions, discharges, and direct resident care.
- Educate residents and families on health-related matters.
- Document incidents, transcribe physician orders, and ensure family notifications.
- Administer treatments and medications while following care standards.
- Participate in care planning and supervise certified nursing assistants.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
