JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the supervision of the Director of Speech/Language Pathology, the Rehabilitation Director and the Staff Speech/Language Pathologist provides speech therapy to the residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work under the Director of Speech/Language Pathology to provide speech therapy to the residents
Assist in screening, evaluating, and treatment of residents in accordance with comprehensive care planning
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess knowledge of age-specific developmental factors for adult and geriatric residents
- Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Language Hearing Association
- Must have a current New York State License as Speech/Language Pathologist
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required
