Overview
We are seeking a Software Developer in Test to support the test automation efforts for the C2PMod project.
This role includes designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to identify and resolve issues for the C2PMod project.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Works with Test and Development Team to support the development of Test Automation Framework in support of testing.
Collaborate with government developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify test cases in an Agile environment.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) system.
Integrates Test Management Tools to support testing.
Performs integration with Google Test to support Unit Testing.
Develops automation of applications via user interface, JavaScript, JScript, Python, Bash, Shell.
Develops automated tests for Unit Tests, Functional Tests, Integration Tests, Regression tests, System Tests.
Perform regression testing and ensure that fixes are applied successfully.
Configures host applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Develops internal test tools using Python and Bash.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
Operate debugging software and seek-out root cause of error in coding sequences.
Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in testing and automation.
Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
Design and implement testing strategies to improve the overall quality of the C2PMod product.

Operates standard computer based business tools (including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel) effectively.
Project Management/Staff Supervision:
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to ensure optimum productivity.
- Ability to document and track project time lines and milestones
Customer Interface Activities:
- Suitable inter-personnel and customer service skills required to interface with corporate customers.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the Customer, SSC-Pacific Center's staff, and peer contractor personnel.

Essential Physical Tasks:
Ability to lift 10 lbs. on an occasional basis
Ability to use a personal computer, keyboard and mouse on a consistent basis.

- Demonstrates excellent clear and concise verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
Proven experience in automated testing, with proficiency in tools such as SmartBear TestComplete, Gtests, similar frameworks.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Jscript, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems such as Git.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in a related STEM field
Work Schedule:
- 9/80
The ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements.
Willingness to work on site or off site to accomplish the assigned tasks.
Pay Range: $75,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually, DOE
U.S. Citizenship is required
Security Clearance:
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
