We’re seeking a motivated leader to oversee multiple locations, including Pleasant Grove, Lindon, Salem, and Ephraim, UT, as well as any future sites in the region. The ideal candidate will be based in the Utah County area and ready to drive success across our expanding network.
Overview:
Area Managers oversee, coach, and develop the Site Managers who they supervise to ensure each location maintains or exceeds Car Wash quality and standards. Area Managers lead and train their assigned location’s leadership team to maximize operational excellence. It is the Area Manager’s responsibility to strategize and forecast operational direction for their specific sites.
We offer a competitive salary starting at $95,000 per year, with the potential for higher compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Job Title: Area 3 Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Development:
- Live and portray the core values (Customer Focused, Driven, Engaged, Fun, Growing), mission, vision, purpose, and goals of TAGG-N-GO.
- Manage operations within an assigned area comprising 3-5 car wash sites
- Train, mentor, lead, and develop Site Managers.
- Ensure a leadership bench is in place at each site.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the productivity and performance of multiple car wash sites.
- Strategize and forecast operational direction for specific sites.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular meetings and training of Site Managers.
- Perform frequent audits of sites to maintain Car Wash quality and standards.
- Communication and Transparency:
- Communicate regularly with Site Managers to maintain transparency, focus, and forward progress.
- Set scorecard goals and objectives with Site Managers.
- Handle discipline, transfers, and possible termination of Site Managers as needed.
- Monitor and assist each site with work progress
- Safety and Environment:
- Ensure each site is following safety procedures.
- Ensure each site is clean, well-maintained, and provides a healthy team environment.
- Handle incident reports in an appropriate manner.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to discuss progress and action items related to continued growth.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance department in overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of each sit
- Provide updates and train Site Managers on services provided.
*Note area managers and site managers are not considered office jobs however there may be time where office work is needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience managing multiple teams.
- 2 years of customer service experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Basic mechanic knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work outside in varying temperatures.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Other Expectations:
- Drive to multiple sites within a day.
- Lead and motivate the management team to provide a great customer experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to engage in physical activities, such as lifting (0-50 lbs.).
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- While not primarily an office job, there may be occasional office work.
Position Details:
- Full-Time, Exempt.
- On-call on "off" days.
- Regular and consistent travel to visit sites.
