Delivery Driver (Cargo Van)

Duties:

- Deliver mainly in NYC and Long Island area. Local NJ/NYS/PA/DC/MD when it is needed.

- Safely and efficiently operate cargo vans to make deliveries.

- Load and unload goods with care in and from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual labor.

- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

- When no delivery is scheduled, greenhouse works will be assigned.

- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues.

- Report back to office if there is any issue while delivery include vehicle issue or customer's concern.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and delivery logs

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

Requirements:

- Valid regular driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years. We will check your driving record before hiring. (Bring DMV Driving Abstract if available)

- Basic car maintenance knowledge and skills are required

- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience in commercial driving or delivering in NYC.

- Ability to operate cargo van with parallel parking and back up into garage.

- Ability to communicate and interact with customers and team members effectively

- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures for loading, unloading, delivering goods

- Ability to lift heavy objects with 20-30 lb and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.

- Comfortable with long hour standing while in the warehouse.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of deliveries

- Ability to handle merchandise in a gentle but efficient manner.
