TailWind Voice & Data is seeking an entry level Quoting Coordinator to obtain competitive pricing information and generating accurate proposals for telecommunication solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to communication with telecommunication providers and internal resources to research and obtain procing for locations nationwide, identify and present alternate solutions, and be able to accurately compile the information into presentation proposals. This person will work closely with our sales team and project managers, also provide daily assistance on carrier order data entry.
Essential Functions
- Organize and manage all data related to the carrier pre-sales process, including prequalification.
- Engage with local service providers to establish relationships and obtain competitive price quotes.
- Create and develop customer proposals based on the prequalification results.
- Administrative assistance with special projects for the operations, sales, finance, and executive teams.
- Carrier order data entry
- Provide other general assistance, as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Data entry and manipulation is central to this position and therefore strong Excel skills, including using Pivot Tables and knowledge of other advanced Excel functionality, is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of PC tools, Outlook, IM and the Internet.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other team members.
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, follow-through with assigned tasks, and efficiently manage time.
- Professionalism, strong work ethic, confidentiality, and commitment to integrity.
- Desire and ability to grow with the business.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Preferred experience with NetSuite ERP, but not required.
- Experience with telecommunication providers is a plus, but not required.
Salary : $20 - $22
