Position Overview:
We are looking for skilled Operators for our Heavy Civil division. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy construction equipment on large-scale civil projects. This position requires extensive travel to project sites across different locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy civil construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders.
- Perform tasks related to excavation, grading, trenching, and other heavy civil operations.
- Ensure the work meets the required specifications and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Travel extensively to various project sites as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Operator in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in operating various heavy civil construction equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for projects.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
