Description
The Attachment Operations Specialist (AOS) is responsible for all activities involved in Attachments. This includes inventory, replenishment, order/order allocation, reporting, and monitoring of attachment activities. The AOS will also assist in all communications that involve Attachments with our customers. The AOS will work with our inside sales staff, product team, and warehouse team on all attachment needs. There will also be other day-to-day functions that will be assigned that help the overall inside sales department.
Duties include:
- Monitor/plan attachment inventory needs, issue purchase orders, and track delivery dates (updating the PO#)
- Monitor receiving functions for accuracy and process receiving into our ERP system
- Processing vendor invoicing into our ERP system
- Work with our Product team for attachment questions or help to resolve issues.
- Review and report on Back Orders and Attachment sales to help achieve monthly goals
- Assist in Attachment order allocation to sales orders
- Suggest continued improvements in processes and procedures
- Process and manage inventory levels with warehouse staff and suppliers.
- Assist with physical inventory issues, organization, and control with warehouse staff.
- Set up new inventory items once approved.
- Work with Vendors on shortages or issues in products received
- Work with our inside sales staff on other day-to-day activities and functions
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent position experience.
- Knowledge of construction products, Inventory control, attachment planning, and logistics
- General proficiency in computers. Working understanding and use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Extremely driven and goal-oriented.
- Capability to execute and complete position requirements with little supervision
