Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing exam rooms and sterilizing instruments.
- Assisting dentists during various procedures.
- Taking and processing patient X-rays.
- Handling lab work and advising patients on oral hygiene.
- Updating and maintaining accurate dental records.
- A High School diploma/GED or an EDDA Certificate.
- Stellar organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Experience as a dental assistant, with a thorough knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- An understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Skills in regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing are a plus.
- Additional certifications or training will be highly regarded.
