Field Service Technician - Equipment

Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services. This role is central to Bowling Green, KY and Nashville, TN, focusing on stamping presses and coil line equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment, with occasional work on other machinery.
• Conduct detailed equipment inspections and document findings.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to identify service opportunities and support aftermarket sales initiatives.
• Work flexible hours to meet customer service demands.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve complex issues.
• Document service activities and findings in detailed reports.
• Maintain company tools, service equipment, and vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of field service experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Experience with metal stamping presses and coil line equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs, servo systems, and HMI interfaces is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, lubrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel ~75% regionally and ~25% outside the region.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in industrial environments.
