Benefits Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Benefits Manager for one of our clients in the IT Services and IT Consulting sector to lead and oversee all aspects of employee benefits, wellness initiatives, compliance, and recognition programs. This role will involve working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to implement the organization's HR strategy, ensuring that the benefits programs align with business goals and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits management and compliance, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.

This is a permanent and onsite position based in Lake Forest, California

Core Duties :

• Manage the full range of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, 401(k), Deferred Compensation, and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure the smooth administration of medical claims and day-to-day benefits operations.
• Oversee legal compliance and the administration of FMLA, STD, and LTD, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Lead the selection and management of benefits vendors and negotiate cost-effective plans that meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources to integrate benefits programs during mergers and acquisitions.
• Develop and lead employee recognition programs that enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.
• Regularly review and update the Employee Handbook to ensure all policies are current and legally compliant.
• Serve as a backup to the Senior HR Specialist, offering support in HR-related tasks as needed.
