a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join the
team. Chimney Works, LLC is an
industry leader having served the Maryland, DC & Virginia area for over 10

integrity, which are our most important core values. We’re looking for a Sheet Metal Mechanic with knowledge of construction, sheet metal
& HVAC industries who can create & install sheet metal for the purpose
of commercial chimney installation. Growth is vital to our company, but not at the expense of our excellent

Primary Responsibilities Include:
● Communicate and coordinate with Operations
Manager regarding current and upcoming projects and schedules.
● Ensure that projects meet all schedules and
deadlines.
● Manage & ensure that all deliveries to the
job site are accurate and complete and that any additional necessary equipment
and/or materials are onsite or readily available.
● Communicate and coordinate with mechanical
contractors and owners as needed.
● Install commercial prefabricated flue and exhaust
systems.
● Demo, reconstruction and/or of existing flue
systems.
● The rigging of flue systems, equipment and/or
materials as required.
● Possible travel to various cities with per Diem.
Requirements
Successful Candidates Must Have:
● 5 years’ experience in running sheet metal, HVAC
construction projects, or related industry experience preferred.
● Welding experience preferred.
● OSHA 30 hour or able to obtain it within the
first 60 days.
● Mechanically inclined and familiar with the use
of hand & power tools.
● Able to lift 50 regularly.
● Comfortable with year-round outdoor work.
● Comfortable climbing ladders & scaffolding.
● Familiarity with the use of standard sheet metal
and welding tools.
● Ability to meet strict deadlines.
● Computer Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe.
● Clean personal background – Must be able to pass
a Government check for facility access.
