What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restorative Nurse M-F position at Talladega Health and Rehab?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Document patient information, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations as needed
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in Alabama
- Proven experience as a nurse or in a similar healthcare role
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong understanding of medical documentation and record keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
