Housekeeping

The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who can provide a clean, sanitary and orderly front office environment. A good customer service approach to this position is required.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited

• Create a sanitary environment through washing, cleaning, sanitizing, dusting, sweeping, moping, vacuuming, trash removal and other similar activities
• Promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of germs and odors
• Responsible for disposal of trash, debris and separation of recyclable items on a daily basis
• Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
• Damp dust furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, etc.
• Wet mop floors in bathrooms daily
• Damp mop all corridor floors, lobby and other applicable areas daily
• Wash basins, mirrors, countertops and commodes daily
• Check areas for spills, water and especially bathrooms
• Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaking faucet or toilets, loose tile, broken windows, missing nuts or screws, etc.
• Ensure all break areas and bathrooms are properly stocked
• Wash windows when needed
• May requires working in damp and dusty areas
• Works in safe manner
  
  

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience preferred
• Must be able to follow directions/recommendations
• Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude
• Good Customer Service skills
• Be able to lift and carry 30 pounds and be on their feet most of the time.
• Normal working day/hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am -3:30pm but must be somewhat flexible during baseball season (April-Sept.)
• Valid Driver’s License
