The Role:
Tandem Physical Therapy is a thriving and rapidly growing physical therapy and
wellness center. We’re looking for an Appointment Setter/Sales Development Rep to join our team.
In this role you’ll be working to follow up on the leads coming into our office to schedule appointments, field questions, follow-up on inquiries, send out information packages and assist in maintaining the integrity of the company’s database.
The primary outcome of your role is to secure at least 15-20 qualified appointments per month. Extensive sales training is provided.

Tandem Physical Therapy is a locally owned physical therapy clinic in Metairie, Louisiana specializing in serving adults in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s and has a strong wellness program which includes flexibility classes, private and group Pilates lessons, and virtual programs. Our owners, Lauren and Christy are both physical therapists and long-time friends. Together, they opened Tandem PT in June 2018 and have seen consistent growth ever since. Tandem PT believes in providing exceptional care and customer service to the people in our community so they can stay active and healthy throughout their life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Successfully communicate the value of our services (in person, over the phone, and over email/text/messenger) and be able to explain how what we do is worth the price we are asking
Successfully handle objections to price and scheduling
Comfortably hold a lengthy conversation (15-25 min) with new and prospective clients on the phone or in person - ensuring that clients are committed and “bought-in” to our services before they arrive
Ensure that clients who call and request appointments are placed on the schedule - with a good understanding of true time, cost, and personal commitment before they arrive
Ensure that people show up excited for their appointments or sessions
Take payments, provide accurate receipts, and keep prompt and accurate records
Organize and plan all schedules in a way that maximizes efficiency and revenue for the clinic
Keep prompt and accurate recording of all incoming leads on our tracking sheets and in CRM
Promptly check voice mails and emails. Return all calls and requests for information within 24 hours and deliver messages to appropriate personnel promptly and accurately.
What You Need To Succeed in This Role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build a rapport with prospects over the phone
Strong work ethic, initiative, positive attitude & high energy
Openness to learn
Willingness to think outside of the box and tackle complex problems
Experience working with an online CRM a plus (Salesforce, Hubspot, Infusionsoft etc.)
Persistence to overcome obstacles and achieve quotas
KPI focused – previous employment and success within a KPI driven company
Accountability – able to thrive on being held accountable for results and performance
What We Will Provide for You:
Competitive base of $15-20 per hour depending on experience
Abundant commission opportunities that would allow you to:
Make an additional 10k if you’re a “good” SDR
Make an additional 15k - 25k if you’re a “GREAT” SDR
A manageable work/life balance (hours can be agreed and are flexible)
