A Material Handler is responsible for moving finished goods from one location to another using a sit down forklift.
Role and Responsibilities
- Communicating with other coworkers
- Driving the sit down and loading finished product.
- Staging over-sized pallets in order of pickup.
- Staging raw material to operators so they don't run out
- Verifying orders
Requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of forklift experience required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic math and measurement skills required
- Authorization to work in the US
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to stand entire shift
Education and experience
- • High School Diploma or GED
Physical requirements
- • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be comfortable with working in extremely hot temperatures
