Job Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team in Vernal, UT. This role is responsible for performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests and analyses to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate will have ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification, a degree in Clinical Lab Science (or related field), and a willingness to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures.
Analyze blood, tissue, and other body fluids to detect abnormalities and assist in disease diagnosis.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and laboratory safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide accurate test results.
Maintain detailed patient records and laboratory documentation.
Requirements:
ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required.
Associates degree or higher in Clinical Laboratory Science (or related field).
Willingness to relocate to Vernal, UT.
Must have prior work authorization (sponsorship not available for this role).
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior hospital laboratory experience.
