What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Tarrant Neurology Consultants?
- Patient Check In / Patient Check Out
- Handle high volume incoming calls
- Schedule New Patient Appointments & Existing Patient Appointments
- Schedule Office Procedures
- Collect Copays/Deductibles/Coinsurance/Balances
- Obtain New Patient Referrals
- Complete Prescription Authorizations
- Refill Medications
- Complete patient referrals for therapy, imaging, and other services as required
- Room Patients, complete vitals and document EMR (E-Clinical Works)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Medical Assistant training (Preferred )
Experience:
- Medical Office Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital Signs Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- EMR Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
