What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operation Supervisor position at Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc?
Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC) is seeking a highly organized, engaging and self-sufficient full time Operations Supervisor/Program Coordinator to oversee Medications for Addictions Treatment (MAT) outreach, community education, presentations, and networking activities in the Palmdale/Lancaster area. The MAT Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the Clinical and Operations Supervisors to raise community awareness of services provided by TTC Palmdale, in particular MAT services. The MAT coordinator will be responsible for engaging with potential referral sources and increasing the number of patients seeking MAT services at the TTC Palmdale clinic.
In addition to outreach activities, the Program Coordinator provides supervision, support, and assistance to the MAT/NTP staff, and provides counseling services to patients as needed. The Coordinator will assist in scheduling admissions, follow-ups and manage the NTP daily calendar.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of Evidenced Based Practices, Co-Occurring Disorders and/or Recovery Oriented Models of Treatment, and Motivational Interviewing
- Strong written, oral, communication and social skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Current Certification as an Addiction Treatment Counselor in California
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working full time in Substance Use Treatment
- Experience in MAT Treatment a plus
- Must have valid California driver's license and the availability of a car with adequate insurance
- Must have computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record, daily charting, and documentation
