What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor II position at Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc?
Full time Chemical Dependency Counselor position in Tarzana Treatment Centers Outpatient program will work closely with the Outpatient multi-disciplinary team under the direction of the Outpatient Clinical Supervisor and Program Director. Duties will include chemical dependency assessments and individualized treatment plans for patients, facilitation of individual and group counseling sessions, electronic and paper chart documentation, and participation in case conferences and crisis intervention as needed.
The position requires the following: 1
1- Enrollment in or completion of Academic Addictions Studies program or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work.
2 - Registration and/or Certificate with one of the ADAP approved statewide certification entities CCAPP or CAADE
3 - Minimum 3 years experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.
