- Conduct pre-trip inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment

Displaying consistent attention to safety in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations

Collect delivery instructions from dispatcher, verifying instructions and routes

Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations

Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles

Driving trucks to weigh stations to document weights and to comply with state regulations

Transports non-hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and company safety procedures

Handling various products, hazardous and non-hazardous materials
-
Performing industrial work and biohazard cleanups
-
Staging, profiling, and processing for disposal hazardous and non-hazardous waste
-
Assist in the removal of soil, debris and other materials, and cleaning up spill sites

Operate and clean equipment
-
Other duties as assigned
- CDL "Class A" License with the ability to attain a Hazmat endorsement
- 2-5 years truck driving experience

HAZWOPER and Confined Space

TWIC Card preferred.
2-5 years truck driving experience.
CDL "Class A" Tanker License with the ability to attain a Hazmat endorsement.
Ability to travel and the flexibility to work long hours.
Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
Clean and verifiable driving record and MVR.
Ability to pass physical and drug screen.
HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications.
Ability to complete basic job-related paperwork, including time sheets, crew sheets, permits, etc.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including Respiratory Protection.
Ability to work in at around extreme temperatures.
Ability to lift or carry heavy objects in excess of 60 lbs.
Ability to kneel, squat, or bend for long durations.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks on wet or slippery work surfaces.
Ability to walk or climb stairs or ladders frequently.
Ability to reach or work overhead frequently.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical
