Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented 1099 Contractors for the role of Carpet Cleaner to join our team at Task Snob Services. As a contractor, you will provide high-quality carpet cleaning services in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, customer satisfaction, and the ability to operate independently.

Important Requirements:

• 1099 Contract Position: This opportunity is for independent contractors only.
• General Liability Insurance: Must have active coverage or be able to obtain it within 30 days.
• Supplies & Equipment: You must provide your own carpet cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.
• Weekend Availability: Must be available to work on weekends as needed.
• Same-Day Availability: Must be able to accommodate last-minute customer requests.
• Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in carpet cleaning or commercial cleaning is required.

Duties:

• Perform carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure optimal results.
• Inspect carpets thoroughly to identify stains, damage, or areas requiring special attention.
• Utilize custodial skills to maintain cleanliness in various environments, including homes and businesses.
• Execute floor care tasks such as buffing and maintaining other types of flooring as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand and address their carpet care needs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for jobs.
• Follow environmentally friendly practices where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in carpet cleaning or commercial cleaning.
• Strong understanding of custodial practices and floor care techniques.
• Ability to operate carpet cleaning machines and related equipment safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
• A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
