Role Purpose
The Warehouse Operator is a critical role in our plant operations in Sycamore, IL. Incumbents in this role are responsible for all aspects of the production process from gathering raw materials to helping with packing and shipping final products.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing all job functions / activities with a commitment to a strong safety mindset and compliance with all outlined safety policies
- Meeting and exceeding clear housekeeping, sanitation, and GMP standards while strictly following outlined food safety protocols
- Prepares orders by processing requests and open orders
- Pulling materials and verifying accuracy or orders
- Sort and place materials in rack and bin locations according to organizational standards
- Maintain inventory controls
- Assist in counting physical inventory
- Packaging and labeling of finished products
- Documenting accurately required food safety, quality, and production information
- Rotating inventory

- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds as needed
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, sit and climb in and out of a forklift
- Must be able to effectively operate a sit down and stand-up forklift
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions on site. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
In addition, this job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and copy machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand;
walk; sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; work from heights, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and / or move products ranging from 30 to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability see color and adjust focus.
Qualifications
- Highschool diploma / GED or equivalent experience required
- The ability to climb stairs and ladders, lift and carry 55 lbs., and perform other physical duties
