Job Opening – Remote Tax Pro
TaxHawk is looking for tax professionals with active CPA, EA, or attorney licenses. In this position, you will give virtual, interactive tax advice to do-it-yourself customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others navigate the complexities of tax compliance. Unlike most tax positions, this position does not involve project deadlines, client management, or tax return preparation. This position allows you to work from home on a wide variety of available shifts.

Job Description
- You’ll be answering customers’ tax questions - no preparing or signing of tax returns required.
- No customer video calls. All interaction will be done via phone, online chat, or email.
- Seasonal position from November 2025 to April 30, 2026
- 20 hours per week
- Work from home
- Pay is competitive and depends on experience
Qualifications
- Active credential: CPA, EA, or practicing attorney
- 2 or more seasons preparing tax returns for individuals (Form 1040)
- 2 or more seasons of direct interaction with tax clients
- Must live in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Minnesota, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wyoming
- Tax research experience a plus (IRS, state tax authorities)
