Job Description:
Taylor Behavioral Health Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to join our team. As a BHT, you will play a crucial role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with behavioral and developmental challenges. Your efforts will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavioral Specialist.
- Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to children in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
- Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and treatment goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure cohesive treatment implementation.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance ABA knowledge and skills.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines set by the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience working with children, especially those with behavioral or developmental challenges, is highly desirable.
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training program or willingness to complete the training upon hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various work locations.
