Position: Instructional Designer

Taylor Company, a foodservice equipment manufacturing company, is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop training materials to support technical and operational training courses for classroom and on-line training.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the company LMS system including content creation, maintenance, and the development of new features.
- Collaborate with instructors, service representatives, engineers, and customers to develop training program content.
- Develop and maintain multimedia training and presentation aids using for educational and technical use.
- Film and edit videos to enhance training tools.
- Create written publications to support multimedia training programs.
Position Requirements:
- Strong organization skills and the ability to self-manage multiple development projects and deadlines.
- Excellent project management, communication (both oral and written), analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An appreciation for various learning styles and the ability to work with a diverse population of end users and subject matter experts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia Design and Development, Visual Communications, Digital Media Production, or related field required.
- Experience using LMS systems/applications such as Captivate and Articulate, as well as an understanding of SCORM fundamentals required.
- Knowledge of multimedia design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Director, Flash, along with an eye for design.
- Simple programming understanding (Actionscript, HTML, CSS, Javascript)
- Experience using A/V and video equipment.
- Experience with video editing software.
- Experience creating web-based multimedia tools desired.
- Mechanical / Technical aptitude.
