Taylor Made Smiles Dentistry seeks a Dental Administrative Assistant to join our team! Our Dental Administrative Assistant is an essential member of our team and is responsible for assisting with office operations, administration, and patient correspondence. Our ideal candidate will have prior administrative experience, ideally in a dental office, and exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service orientation, and a willingness to learn and grow on the job. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist With Office Operations
- Greet our patients and create a comfortable, hospitable office environment
- Collects all necessary fees and deductibles at check in
- Maintain patient files, insurance correspondence, and medical compliance records
- Participates in staff meetings and trainings.
- Organize our office administrative materials
- Coordinate our Appointment Calendar
- Schedule our patients’ appointments
- Ensure our appointment calendar is structured in a way that maximizes our ability to treat our patients smoothly and efficiently
- Manage Patient Correspondence
- Communicate with current and prospective patients to ensure they have the information they need to make, and keep, their dental appointments
- Responsible for daily completion of insurance verification
- Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure claim completion
- Correspond with patients on the financial and insurance details that position them for a smooth dental visit
- Communicate Treatment Plans to our Patients
- With support from our dental clinical team, outline treatment plans for our patients so that they understand the purpose, financial commitments, and necessary appointments for us to meet their needs as a patient
- Participates in keeping common areas of dental office clean.
- Maintain professional appearance and functionality of office

- Strong comfort and skill with Microsoft Office Products, Google Office Applications, and Dental Practice Management Software (Open Dental software)
