Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Reliability Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of Vanguard Renewables’ facilities. This role involves developing and implementing maintenance programs, managing budgets, collaborating with Operations Managers, and utilizing advanced technologies to enhance equipment performance and site reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Program Development : Create and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Budget Management : Oversee maintenance budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while meeting operational needs.
- Data Analysis : Analyze maintenance and equipment data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
- Reliability Strategies : Develop and execute strategies to enhance equipment reliability, including predictive maintenance programs and condition monitoring.
- Root Cause Analysis : Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Engineering Solutions : Design or recommend modifications to improve equipment performance, efficiency, and lifespan.
- Collaboration : Partner with design, operations, and maintenance teams to improve equipment maintainability and reliability.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks to equipment performance and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Technical Expertise : Employ advanced technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis for predictive maintenance.
- Compliance & Safety : Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry best practices and safety regulations.
