What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor/Maintenance position at TCV Management Services?
We are looking for a skilled General Laborer/Maintenance worker to perform tasks such groundskeeping, upkeep, and repairs on Mobile Homes. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of AC units and plumbing is a plus
- Perform fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install or repair appliances and equipment
- Perform jobs such as repair/replace flooring and walls
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to a facilities or manager for issues
Skills
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
