What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Operator position at TDEC?
TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks a temporary Data Entry Operator. Full time and Part time positions available. All candidates must live within commutable distance to Robbinsville, NJ and be able to work onsite.
Hiring for the following shifts:
Weekdays
8AM - 2PM
9AM - 3 PM
2PM - 8 PM
The worksite practices all local, state and federal COVID-19 precautions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and enter data into databases and maintain accurate records.
- Accurately enter data from a variety of sources.
- Review and inspect work to assure compliance with job instructions, layouts, and other procedural instructions.
- Selection, coding and interpretation of data.
- Ensure quality control of completed jobs.
- Assist in maintaining production in accordance with established schedules and priorities.
- Perform record keeping of work performed.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Working knowledge of data entry machine/computer operation, practices, and procedures.
- 40wpm typing speed and accuracy.
- Ability to use 10-key pad and alpha-numeric entry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- At least one year of work experience preferred.
