We are seeking a versatile and dependable Manufacturing Utility Technician to support our production and logistics operations. This role requires someone who can move seamlessly between international shipping and receiving, mechanical/electrical assembly, and other general manufacturing duties. This position plays a key role in helping us maintain efficient flow across departments during a time of growth and process improvement.
- Coordinate international and domestic shipping/receiving, including packaging, labeling, customs paperwork, and freight coordination
- Accurately process incoming and outgoing materials using internal systems
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly per work instructions and quality standards
- Complete hand soldering and wire preparation as required
- Support inventory management through proper tracking, labeling, and storage of parts
- Assist with process improvements on the assembly floor, including line layouts and tooling setups
- Occasionally assist with basic CNC machine operations or other shop tasks
- Follow established safety, quality, and cleanliness procedures
- Adapt to daily priorities based on production and shipping needs
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Direct experience with international shipping processes, including customs and export documentation
- Proficiency in mechanical/electrical assembly and soldering
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and shipping documents
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
- Dependable, team-oriented, and solutions-focused
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift and familiarity with ERP or inventory software
- Experience with line-based assembly or lean manufacturing
- Prior exposure to CNC or machine shop environments
- Basic understanding of 5S, continuous improvement, or quality systems
