Position Summary:
TCM is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with our team to complete listed duties, communicate with customers, ensure aging compliance, and resolve discrepancies. Ability to work with a focused team and contribute to accounting projects when needed is key.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Preparation of daily bank deposit
• Daily application of check, wire and ACH payments
• Daily posting, printing, and mailing invoices
• Monthly mailing of AR statements
• Communicate with customers via phone, email and / or mail
• Review AR aging to ensure compliance
• Follow up and collect on payments
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• General accounting support and other accounting projects as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• AA in Accounting
• 1-3 years’ experience in clerical accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and previous NetSuite experience preferred
• Excellent data entry skills
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, including at a computer
• Occasional lifting, of up to 15 lbs.
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard, mouse, and lifting or transferring of items.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, or kneeling
Work Conditions:
General office environment, hybrid work schedule available
