Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person Florida-Certified teacher to teach all core subjects to three boys at their home in Miami, FL 33169 Monday-Thursday from 9am-2pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right elementary teacher: a homeschool position teaching three students that pays $45/hour ($900/week). This opportunity starts at the beginning of September for the upcoming fall 25/26 school year.
Looking for a Florida-certified elementary teacher who is able to teach all subjects to a boy in 4th grade, a boy in 3rd grade, and a boy in pre-K using the parents’ chosen homeschool curriculum. (The parents will choose & provide the curriculum and are willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum is used. However, the curriculum must align to state standards.) All three boys are independent learners who are ahead of grade level. The family also plans to hire a teaching assistant to assist.
The teacher will teach all subjects, coordinate and conduct all required testing and documentation to fulfill Florida state homeschooling requirements, work to identify educational needs, and review progress with the parents. The right teacher will be intelligent, engaging, warm and outgoing but focused, experienced, flexible and reactive to the students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a strong understanding of elementary curriculum, and the ability to engage young learners in a positive and supportive manner.
Teacher candidates should have at least a BA and current Florida state certification, plus a minimum of three years teaching experience. Teachers To Go has been offering classroom teachers private job opportunities with flexible scheduling and competitive pay since 2007.
Requirements: Minimum BA and current Florida state teacher certification, plus three years teaching experience is required. Must be able to administer all required testing and documentation to fulfill Florida state homeschool requirements and must have the ability to teach all subjects through the 5th grade level. Must have your own reliable transportation and a clean driving record, and must be able to travel to the home of the students in person in Miami FL 33169 Monday-Thursday from 9am-2pm.
