Due to retirement, the Kingsley-Pierson CSD is seeking a superintendent of schools. The individual selected will serve as a leader by supporting the vision and mission of the school district. Will be responsible for the day to day operation of the school district and will serve as the spokesperson for the district. The selected candidate will oversee the preparation of the annual budget and supervise the principals, district teaching staff and non-certified staff. Will also recommend hiring and dismissal of staff. The selected candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate with the community and the school board as appropriate.
Kingsley-Pierson is a 1A school district in Northwest Iowa, approximately 30 minutes from Sioux City. The K-4/9-12 builiding is located in Kingsley and the 5-8 building is located in Pierson. There is approximately 450 students K-12.
