- Prospect for new opportunities
- Develops a pipeline of new business opportunities for assigned accounts and leads the capture effort for identified opportunities
- Develop successful capture plans
- Oversee opportunity pursuit from qualification through award
- Ensures disciplined capture and business development process implemented and followed.
- Nurture strategic partnerships across industry.
- Responsible for proposal development team high quality proposals
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with management of complex capture efforts for prime federal contracts
- Knowledge of various contract vehicles, schedules, BPAs, OTAs, SBIRs/STTRs, IDIQs, etc
- Must have demonstrated experience leading prime captures of single award contracts
- Established track record of winning work both at the task and contract levels
- Candidate must have experience and be comfortable supporting all phases of acquisition from initial marketing and communication planning, to proposal development and submittal
- Broad experience working inside the DoD with emphasis on Training, Human Capital and Cyber/IT
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are required
- Self-motivated, independent thinker who requires minimum supervision
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
- U.S Citizenship is required. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation.
