Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineworkers for our Rochester, PA operation. They will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division.
Responsibilities
Planning and Initiating Projects- Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
- Setting Poles
- Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
- Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
- Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
- Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
- Tree Trimming
Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
Must have 1 year experience in the industry- Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the great Pittsburgh, PA area
- Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
- Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
