The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Clinical Chart Specialist in Admissions at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.
Salary: $33,130.00
Shift: 7:30 AM -4:00 PM
Job Grade D
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide direct clerical support to the medical staff and nursing staff
· Responsible for management of the retrieval and processing of patients clinical, legal, medical, and laboratory documents received from other locations
· Enter data into the computer data management systems
· Collect patient demographic information and assembling patient charts
· Oversee and manage the Medical Clearance Processes through various referral agencies.
Excellent communication skills, the ability to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with coworkers, subordinates, multiple offices, community agencies and divisions.
