Team Red Dog is seeking a strategic and analytically-driven
Market Research Analyst
to support our client, a global technology leader. This hybrid role with the Azure Business and Market Strategy team focuses on internal intelligence, cloud market analysis, and succinct executive reporting that informs the client's positioning within the broader cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring strong research experience, cloud and AI familiarity, and the ability to distill key takeaways from complex sources to shape marketing narratives.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

• Cloud & AI Expertise (8 years): Deep understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP and market-level insights.
• Market Research & Competitive Intelligence (8 years): Proven ability to distill findings from complex internal and external research sources.
• Cloud Technology Industry Experience (8 years): Demonstrated thought leadership and analysis within the cloud sector.

Opportunity Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to shape Azure's competitive positioning by sourcing and synthesizing intelligence from internal teams and competitor public data. The candidate will influence client's earnings messaging, support strategic planning projects, and develop materials for leadership use.

• Identify and track internal research sources across Microsoft to surface actionable customer and competitive insights.
• Analyze internal and external reports to produce succinct executive summaries and leadership-ready insights.
• Support large strategic projects with structured research and competitive analysis.
• Contribute to team rhythm of business (ROB), including agenda tracking, open items, and offsite support.
• Help prepare content for executive communications and earnings messaging related to Azure's market position.

How you will make an impact:

• Partner with product management to define and influence product roadmap and GTM alignment.
• Develop messaging and positioning for Skills & Learning agents, tailored to internal sales and external customers.
• Create and execute GTM strategies highlighting AI-powered value propositions.
• Manage internal pilots to validate hypotheses and drive early adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, business marketing, sales, and field teams.

The expertise you bring:

• 10 years of product marketing experience, ideally in commercial/inbound environments.
• Experience in GenAI or productivity-focused technology solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to influence product teams and shape messaging/positioning.
• Proven track record of cross-team collaboration and execution in complex environments.
